A Day in the Life As a Packaging Operator on our 3rd shift team in Piscataway, NJ, you will report to the Packaging Supervisor and be a key player in the total operation of our manual, semi-automatic, and automatic packaging lines. You will be at the heart of bringing our products to life, ensuring quality and efficiency every step of the way.

In this role, you will:

• Lead Line Operations: Take charge of the entire packaging process, from line set-up and adjustments to changeovers. You'll manage the flow of materials to the line and ensure finished products are ready for the next stage.
• Uphold Quality & Safety: Champion our commitment to excellence by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and sanitization standards. You'll conduct quality control checks to ensure every product meets our specifications.
• Drive Team Success: Collaborate with your colleagues and train new team members, sharing your expertise to maintain a smooth flow of production. You'll be a vital resource for your peers.
• Improve & Innovate: Perform preventative maintenance, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to initiatives that boost line efficiency and quality.

We Are Looking For We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You are a natural team player with a strong sense of responsibility and an eye for detail. You have:

• Experience in a production or processing environment with knowledge of packaging machinery.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, from line operation to quality control and documentation.
• A collaborative spirit, with experience in training or mentoring team members.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A commitment to safety and quality, with knowledge of GMPs being a plus.
• The physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, perform repeated bending and standing, and work the required 3rd shift schedule and potential overtime.
