About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Infrastructure Americas, the Infrastructure Operations & Finance Business Platform Lead will spearhead the strategy, operations, and project delivery for our critical manufacturing and logistics infrastructure across the Americas Zone. This pivotal role oversees the infrastructure supporting our Factory and Warehouse shop floors, industrial endpoints, and essential back-office functions.

You will play a central role in shaping and implementing global and zone-level infrastructure strategies for all L'Oréal manufacturing plants and warehouses in the Americas. This leadership position demands strong cultural intelligence, exceptional budget management skills, and a keen focus on maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of IT services and the successful execution of IT projects throughout the Americas, managing large, geographically dispersed teams across eight countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership & Influence: Actively participate in Global Ops & Fin Business platform steering committee meetings, contributing to strategic direction and providing crucial feedback on the Americas Zone experience to the Global team.
  • Regional IT Leadership: Serve as the Infrastructure Lead for Latin America, acting as a vital liaison between IT leadership in Latin America and the broader Zone Infrastructure Team.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee and manage all day-to-day operational tasks related to service delivery within the Americas zone, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Performance Management: Develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery across all managed platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement strategic process enhancements.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage and oversee budgeting activities, ensuring strict adherence to financial guidelines and achieving targeted financial objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate critical project delivery initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring timely execution, successful implementation, and achievement of project goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular, insightful updates and reports to senior management on the status of service delivery, project progress, and key performance metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Foster and champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency, innovation, and effectiveness in all service delivery processes.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in service delivery management and infrastructure operations.


What We Are Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a similar leadership role, managing large, multi-country teams within an IT infrastructure or service delivery context.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated strong project management skills, with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Acumen: Solid technical grounding in IT Service Management (ITSM), platform architecture, and networking concepts. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and industrial IT environments is highly desirable.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to navigate complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in motivating, developing, and guiding diverse teams.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership across different cultures.
  • Financial Management: Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost management related to IT operations and projects.
  • ITIL Framework Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the ITIL framework and its practical application in service delivery.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous (VUCA) environment.
  • Cultural Intelligence: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead multicultural teams, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all team members.
  • Language Skills: Spanish language proficiency is a significant advantage.
