1. POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Job Purpose: Lead the medical field team to promote LDB products to Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in assigned regions. This role focuses on driving prescription share through scientific detailing, managing regional performance metrics, and building strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES

Medical Detailing: Lead the medical field team to promote L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) products to Health Care Professionals (HCP) in assigned regions to:

  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies, including targeting, segmentation, and detailing frequency for Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
  • Visit targeted doctors in the assigned segmentation and present the brand’s products and services to increase prescription share, implement cycle plan.
  • Promote the brands’ added value by emphasizing the technical and scientific characteristics of the products and services via omni channel engagement strategies.
  • Ensure high quality engagement for both 1:1 engagement or group presentation by supervising and field coaching.
  • Represent the brand at every contact opportunity with health professionals, especially top Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and ensure they are followed up (congresses, ongoing medical training).
  • Monitor and follow up and evaluate visit progress, call quality via Veeva system to assure call plan quality and propose action plan if any.
  • Ensure the respect of internal and external ethical standards regarding relations with health professionals.

Medical Dispensing: Responsible for all Medical performance Metrics for assigned regions:

  • In charge of target coverage, visit frequency and product cycles.
  • Responsible for Sales out performance in assigned channels.
  • Implement all dispensing tools that support for Health Care Professional (HCP) engagement and performance metrics.
  • Identify tender hospitals and lead tender processes.
  • Analyze the sector and make proposals for sectorial action plans to improve return on investment (results and those of the competition, action plans).

Health Care Professional (HCP) Partnership:

  • Identify top Health Care Professionals (HCPs) in the area with proposed approach including visit/engagement frequency, activities and programs.
  • Work together with other functions / departments (marketing, medical detailing, external communications and digital) to assure ontime infull activity deployment.

Team Management:

  • Manage, train and lead a team of medical representatives to ensure consistent, high-quality sales calls and product knowledge.
  • Conduct field visits to observe and provide feedback on detailing techniques, product presentation, and compliance with Medical ethical guidelines.
  • Team upskills training and recruitment.
  • Other Tasks assigned by line manager.


3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Education Qualification: University Degree of Pharmaceutical or Dermatologist.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the role of Detailing Manager/Area Manager/Over-The-Counter (OTC) Manager of pharmaceutical company. Experience and knowledge skin care & aesthetic will be an advantage.
  • Have a good relationship with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Director, Heads of hospital’s pharmacy in Dermatology and Aesthetic is a plus.
  • High sense of responsibility, honest. Passionate & able to work under high pressure.
  • Knows regulatory constraints.
  • Establishing effective relationship with his/her customers (Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Doctors, Head of hospital’s pharmacy, Other Derma/skincare institutes) to increase their recommendation/ prescription. Builds an interactive and customized dialogue with the physician.
