A Day in the Life 

As Media Lead of the Consumer Products Division, you will be a key player in shaping our media strategy and driving brand growth in Country. Reporting to the Digital Director (CDO) of the Consumer Products Division, you will lead a team of 4 media professionals, overseeing all aspects of media planning, execution, and optimization across online and offline channels. You will be a champion of consumer-centricity, ensuring our media efforts resonate deeply with our target audiences and drive maximum ROI. This is a highly visible role, requiring strong leadership, collaboration, and a passion for innovation. 

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and implement the divisional media strategy, aligning with brand expectations, multi-divisional guidelines, and international best practices. Ensure a consumer-centric approach is embedded in all media initiatives, fostering enhanced proximity and engagement. 
  • Campaign Oversight: Supervise brand media planning, ensuring alignment with the overall divisional strategy. Oversee the execution of all media campaigns, meticulously tracking KPIs, optimizing for maximum ROI, and reporting on performance. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-brand and multi-divisional digital projects related to media, search, and 1P activation. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure seamless execution and alignment. 
  • Agency Management: Organize and lead regular meetings with the external media agency, providing strategic direction and ensuring optimal performance. 
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Develop a robust measurement testing framework in collaboration with the agency, ensuring the application of L'Oréal's Global Media Assessment (GLA) in conjunction with the CDO. Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize media strategies and maximize campaign effectiveness. 
  • Retail Media Strategy: Design and implement the divisional retail media strategy, tracking KPIs and ensuring successful execution. 
  • SEO/SEA & Website Management: Steer SEO/SEA strategies and be responsible for the implementation and ongoing enrichment of owned websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. 
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the media team, providing coaching, development opportunities, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Proficiency in analyzing data to measure campaign performance, optimize ROI, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Team Leadership & Development: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. 
  • Innovation: A proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative media solutions.
