L’Oreal Canada is currently looking for a KAM to join their commercial team in Toronto.
A Day in the Life
As the Key Account Manager for a national account, you will be the primary driver of our partnership with one of Canada’s largest retailers. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be empowered to own the business relationship, developing and executing strategies that accelerate growth for our iconic consumer brands like L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, and Maybelline New York.
- Strategic Partnership & Growth: You will develop and implement Joint Business Plans, identifying new opportunities to drive sales and market share both in-store and online, and manage the P&L for your account to ensure profitable growth.
- Retail & E-commerce Excellence: You will lead the execution of our commercial strategy across all touchpoints, ensuring best-in-class visibility, merchandising, and promotional activation to create an exceptional shopper experience.
- Collaborative Leadership: You will work transversally with internal teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of product launches, promotions, and supply chain accuracy.
- Data-Driven Insights: You will analyze sales data and market trends to build accurate forecasts, monitor performance, and provide actionable insights to both L'Oréal and Walmart stakeholders.

You are a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are adept at using data to drive decisions and achieve ambitious goals.
- Strategic Business Ownership: Acts as the "CEO of your category" with an entrepreneurial spirit, proactively identifying white-space opportunities and transforming retailer relationships into high-growth strategic partnerships.
- RGM & Financial Mastery: Drives the "triple-win" (L’Oréal, Retailer, Consumer) by applying a Revenue Growth Management mindset to optimize pricing, promotion effectiveness, and trade spend for maximum profitability.
- High-Stakes Negotiation: A master negotiator capable of leading complex annual commercial rounds, leveraging data-driven insights to defend margins and secure premium brand visibility and retailer commitment.
- Omnichannel & E-Retail Acceleration: Leads the digital transformation of the account by optimizing the digital shelf and retail media to dominate the e-commerce landscape and drive 24/7 sales growth.
- Agile Data Intelligence: Translates complex sales data into "insights-to-action," building precise forecasts and pivoting strategies with agility to capture emerging market trends and mitigate P&L risks
