Role Overview:
At Shu Uemura, we are searching for a visionary Communication Manager who will champion our brand's strategic communications. We particularly encourage candidates with profound expertise in digital media.
This position demands demonstrated leadership in project execution and a proven ability to effectively manage complex, multi-channel campaigns. The successful candidate will play a role in increasing brand awareness, engagement, and consideration. We are seeking an individual who possesses both strategic foresight and exceptional execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Innovate Media Strategy:
- Spearhead the brand's media strategy, applying a robust PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle to ensure peak performance and maximized outcomes.
- Leverage deep knowledge of the latest digital platforms and analytical prowess to drive innovative media deployments.
Optimize Data Analysis & Performance Management:
- Establish qualitative and quantitative KPIs for all activities. Track and analyze performance.
- Analyze traffic and social data to extract insights. Use these insights for campaign planning, content optimization, and strategic plans.
- Synthesize insights into operational reports. Drive optimization and efficiency.
- Oversee budget for managed activities. Ensure agencies achieve performance and ROI.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other communication teams (e.g., PR, organic social, reviewer media) to lead the execution of integrated 360° communication action plans.
- Actively support other internal teams and departments, contributing collectively to the achievement of overarching business objectives.
Must Have Aspects 必須項目
5+ years of proven experience in media (media ,agency or in-house digital roles)
Strong understanding of the beauty/fashion industry, and demonstrated creativity, "out-of-the-box" thinking
Strong project management capabilities, including robust planning and execution skills
Business-level English fluency and native-level Japanese proficiency
Proficiency in PC & Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualification 希望項目
Strong proficiency in data-driven marketing, leveraging digital analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Traackr, and Google Analytics
