As the DMI Head of Retail Design, your mission will be to bring the brand’s visual identity to life and reinvent the customer journey across a seamless, world-class Online + Offline (O+O) omnichannel ecosystem.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Digital & Retail O+O department, your daily missions will be structured around 7 strategic pillars:
1. Brand Consistency & Customer Journey
- Bring the brand SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to life and ensure flawless visual consistency across the entire customer journey on all retail touchpoints: B2B salons, B2B2C Pro stores, and B2C Selective distribution & Eventing.
- Identify, anticipate, and share new retail assets (messaging and visuals) with key stakeholders based on evolving market and retail needs.
- Innovate in retail design to drive brand growth across all 3 key categories: Professional Haircare, Color, and Tech tools.
2. Permanent Retail Identity
- Adapt, optimize, and create guidelines for our retail identity across all physical touchpoints.
- Pilot, mentor, and actively accompany key countries in deploying the brand's new visual identity.
3. Strategic Product Launches
- Create and deliver comprehensive retail guidelines for all key launches.
- Maintain a disruptive, innovative mindset in both the delivery of content and point-of-sale execution.
4. Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis
- Monitor, analyze, and keep track of competitive retail codes, initiatives, and executions.
- Translate market trends and competitors' initiatives into actionable business opportunities, proposing concept updates in line with a fast-evolving footprint.
5. Community Animation
- Coordinate, inspire, and animate the worldwide (WW) L’Oréal Professionnel Retail community.
- Actively participate in driving the retail shift and transformation within the division.
6. Share & Upskill
- Foster a highly collaborative, constant O+O (Online + Offline) mindset.
- Influence, inspire, and upskill DMI members and local Division country teams.
7. People Management
- Manage, guide, and develop a dedicated team of 2 full-time retail freelancers.
Your Profile for Success
