HR Generalist (m/f)

YOUR ROLE: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist (m/f) to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. Position of HR Generalist requires motivated, agile, and organized person who will be responsible for:

  • Providing efficient and streamlined support to the business in all HR-related country tasks.
  • Being responsible for HR administration related to any stage of the employee lifecycle: hires, changes, terminations; new legal compliance requirements.
  • Organizing and maintaining personnel records and administrating employee benefits.
  • Providing information to the external payroll provider regarding compensation, bonus achievement, absence, new hires, leavers, changes.
  • Ensuring GDPR and Health & Safety compliance of HR documentation.
  • Participating actively in the Employer branding activities, Talent acquisition process, various corporate and local HR projects as well as the onboarding of new employees in the country.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the employees.
  • Participating in the preparation and updating of internal corporate policies on HR management.
  • Preparing monthly reports and analyses on workforce numbers, organizational structure, and employee movements.
  • Responding to frequently asked employee questions regarding standard policies, benefits, payroll, hiring processes, sick/maternity leave, onboarding, and other HR-related matters.
  • Providing support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies.

THE IDEAL PROFILE: 

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Has 2 to 5 years of experience in similar positions
  • Has knowledge of the Bulgarian labor legislation and personnel administration
  • Has ability to analyze, interpret and apply HR rules and regulations
  • Is proactive and flexible with desire to develop new skills
  • Has strong organizational and time management skills
  • Has strong communicational and interpersonal skills
  • Works with responsibility and autonomy
  • Has strong computer skills (MS Office) 
  • Is fluent in English and Bulgarian language
  • Experience with working in HR software/databases is an advantage
