As an HR Finance Controller, you will be a pivotal player in ensuring the financial health and strategic decision-making around our most valuable asset: our people.


You will support HR internal personal cost management and reporting activities, including headcount tracking, payroll cost analysis, and budgeting processes. This role is crucial in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of data across the Zone, directly impacting our ability to make informed choices that deliver positive financial, environmental, and social impacts. You will own the end-to-end process, bridging HR and Finance systems, and leveraging cutting-edge tools to drive efficiency and insight.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


As an HR Finance Controller, you will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and contribute to our vibrant community impact by:


- Acting as a Strategic Interface: Be the key interface between Finance (including R2R) and HR Stakeholders (including Payroll), fostering collaboration and understanding across critical functions.

- Driving Knowledge Sharing & Growth: Upskill both HR and Finance teams, ensuring mastery in managing headcount processes and promoting a continuous learning culture.

- Innovating Data Flows: Work with Payroll, HR Tech, BEST DEX, and local HR teams to enhance data flows and controlling reliability. Proactively identify simplification and automation opportunities, leveraging L'Oréal's commitment to DATA & AI.

- Ensuring Financial Integrity: Prepare and validate entries for monthly HR cost closing (accruals, intercompany entries, restatements), guaranteeing financial accuracy and compliance.

- Fostering Global Collaboration: Consolidate data from various countries and coordinate seamlessly with Finance counterparts, embracing our global community spirit.

- Shaping the Future: Support headcount and personnel cost budgeting activities in close collaboration with HR Business Partners and Finance, ensuring strict compliance with group directives and contributing to our F&L Vision 2030.

- Delivering Actionable Insights: Run financial simulations, track key trends, and prepare impactful presentations for HR/Finance alignment, enabling data-driven decision-making.

- Providing Transparent Reporting: Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports on headcount and personnel costs, offering clarity and insights to stakeholders.

- Proactive Problem Solving: Perform thorough variance analysis, identify key drivers of deviations, and propose corrective actions as needed, demonstrating your courage to take risks and push boundaries.

- Leading Strategic Discussions: Lead meetings to monitor actual, trend, and budget performance, communicating results and insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making and acting as a trusted business partner.

Championing Data Quality: Guarantee the quality of HR & Finance data and monitor consistency between HR and Finance systems, upholding the highest standards of integrity.

- Optimizing Processes: Contribute to process documentation and ensure audit-readiness, reflecting our pursuit of operational excellence.
