As Financial Accountant you are fond of collaborating closely with people and you enjoy engaging in and contributing to optimized accounting processes. You will be part of the local team that manages our four business entities in the Nordics, and in close collaboration with our colleagues from the business service center based in Spain, you will drive all the accounting process improvement and enhancement for the Nordics. The position is based in our Nordic HQ in Copenhagen and reports into the Local Chief accountant and is part of our Nordic Corporate Finance team.
You will…
- Own the production of financial statements and reporting within the deadlines set by the Group and the various legal bodies. i.e. Consolidation reporting and end of year local accounts, tax and legal statements etc.
- Own the reporting and processes around Direct & Indirect Tax for the local entities (CIT, VAT) and be a key part in upcoming regulations such as CSRD.
- Ensure close collaboration with other local teams (Controlling, Tax, Legal, HR, Purchasing etc.) to facilitate the production of accounts and the implementation of new local or Group level initiative.
- Check that the Group's accounting procedures and principles are correctly applied to ensure the quality and reliability of the Group’s monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts.
- Keep continuously informed and understands the evolution of local regulations regarding accounting GAAPs and fiscal regulations and initiate appropriate changes in systems and procedures.
Your profile…
- Ideally you have a diploma in accounting or a university degree in economics with minimal 6 years of experience.
- Experience in external audit company would be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Interested to work in a dynamic and international environment with multiple stakeholder, both internal and external.
- Business minded and strong teamwork orientation.
