A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of our Professional Products Division, cultivating strategic relationships and driving commercial success. Your role is pivotal in connecting our iconic brands with the vibrant UK salon industry. Expect your days to be varied and stimulating, encompassing responsibilities such as:
- Championing Client Relationships: You'll deliver an exceptional customer experience, acting as a true ambassador for L'Oréal's esteemed brands. You'll implement a dynamic contact strategy, blending impactful face-to-face and efficient virtual meetings to ensure a fast and effective go-to-market approach.
- Strategic Business Planning & Execution: Taking full ownership, you'll develop, meticulously plan, and expertly execute a comprehensive business plan for each account. This includes setting ambitious targets for revenue, market share, gross booking profit, and crafting innovative trade marketing strategies.
- Driving Growth with Insight: You'll develop Growth Business Plans (GBP) by conducting insightful client needs assessments and thorough business reviews for your accounts. This involves proactively identifying opportunities for New Product Development (NPD) and seeking out new business avenues across your designated area.
- Data-Driven Forecasting & Risk Management: You'll accurately forecast territory turnover and build robust risk mitigation plans to address any potential shortfalls against targets, ensuring sustained performance and proactive problem-solving.
- Seamless Implementation & Communication: Working hand-in-hand with your Activation counterpart, you'll ensure effective communication and flawless implementation of your Growth Business Plans, both with clients and internal teams.
- Prudent Budget Management: You'll meticulously oversee the budget for your account portfolio, including precise sales forecasting, astute negotiation of promotional budgets, and strategic management of sell-out budgets, all with expert support from our supply chain and channel controllers.
- Leading Negotiations: You'll take the lead in annual negotiations with key accounts, developing clear action plans to achieve objectives, and diligently monitoring their execution and progress to secure mutual success.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Maintaining a deep and current understanding of your accounts and the broader competitive landscape, positioning L'Oréal at the forefront of the industry through informed decision-making.

- A strong commercial background with a proven track record of success in sales or account management.
