A Day in the Life
As an Educator for Redken & Matrix, reporting to the National Education Manager, you will be the face of our brands in salons across Auckland. You will be a visible ambassador, delivering inspiring education that grows technical skills, builds brand desirability, and drives commercial performance.
You will be responsible for:
- Training & Coaching: Delivering engaging in-salon, workshop, and virtual training sessions to upskill stylists on our products, services, and retail routines.
- Commercial Impact: Linking education to sales by supporting product launches, promotional activities, and empowering stylists to make confident recommendations.
- Relationship Management: Building strong, collaborative partnerships with salons, stylists, and our internal sales teams to foster loyalty and gather valuable feedback from the field.
We Are Looking For
You are a people-first educator who can translate technical expertise into clear, practical learning experiences that drive commercial results. We are looking for someone with:
- A Certificate III in Hairdressing
- Coaching & Training Delivery: A talent for mentoring and delivering inspiring educational content.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of professional haircare, colour, and styling services.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent skills in presenting to and engaging with diverse audiences.
- Relationship & Stakeholder Management: The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Sales & Commercial Acumen: An understanding of how education drives business success in a salon environment.
