A Day in the Life

We’re looking for a leader to help us decode the future of corporate branding across the most fascinating markets in the world, stretching from Morrocco to Australia (and everything between).

As the Editorial Strategist & Content Leader, reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Engagement in SAPMENA, you'll be a key player in shaping L'Oréal's narrative across this dynamic zone

Collaborating with diverse teams (marketing, CDMO, etc.), you’ll craft compelling stories that resonate with consumers and stakeholders. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on content creation, driving impactful campaigns. 

You'll strategize, develop and build the 360-degree strategic framework that will inform our editorial strategies, content pipeline for engaging multi-channel content. You'll also pitch stories to tier-1 media, enhancing L'Oréal's brand image. This role offers a creative individual the chance to explore the world of beauty – underpinned by science and technology, championing diversity, inclusion, and empowerment, and where sustainability and growth go together.

  • Develop and Lead Editorial Strategy: Define and implement editorial strategies for SAPMENA, ensuring alignment with global messaging and brand guidelines.
  • Content Pipeline Management: Oversee the content pipeline, collaborating closely with country teams to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content.
  • Storytelling & Content Creation: Identify and develop compelling stories that showcase L'Oréal's innovative products, sustainability initiatives, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Execution: Lead the development and execution of content campaigns across various channels, including social media, digital platforms, and traditional media.
  • Media Relations & Partnerships: Collaborate with the media team to develop investment strategies and pitch stories to tier-1 media outlets.

We Are Looking For

A highly creative and strategic individual with a passion for storytelling and deep understanding of the beauty industry. You are a skilled writer and visual communicator, crafting compelling narratives for diverse audiences. You possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, and demonstrate an eye for editorial design and detail, finding interesting story angles in every facet of work and life. You’ll build a 360-degree strategic framework around these themes to shape a human-centric narrative for L’Oréal.

Required Experience & Skills:

  1. 10+ years of experience in content and communication roles.
  2. Excellent writing/messaging and visualization skills.
  3. Digitally savvy with knowledge of key content tools.
  4. Strategic thinker and hands-on content creator.
  5. Flexible and agile in a dynamic environment.
