EVENTS PROJECT MANAGER YSL BEAUTE (DMI)
Reporting to the International Communications Department and Director of Consumer Engagment, the project manager will be responsible for implementing the creative innovative eventing strategy in line with the brand's image and understanding of business challenges.
The event project manager imagines and organizes all or part of events, to serve the communication needs of the brand and its various stakeholders (event campaign, influencers, local ambassadors, VIPS, media, journalists, retailers). From the definition of the concept to the choice of agencies, from the innovative creative aspect to the follow-up of logistics, his versatile role and his sense of image & experience ensure the success of each event both DMI & Locsl (product launches, conferences, seminars, trips, parties...) and the brand's influence worldwide.
MISSIONS
- Propose an annual communications plan based on launch priorities by zone and category, and promote it to the various internal stakeholders (DMI, Zones, etc.).
- Work closely with all stakeholders in the Communications team and DMI to propose innovative experiences in terms of formats and brand expression.
- Imagine the modalities of the event, in line with the objectives and budget, and provide expertise and creativity concerning the means and tools to be mobilized.
- Detail the budget allocated to the event in collaboration with the Communications Department and the L'Oréal Luxe Purchasing Department.
- Organize and lead internal meetings to identify market wishes and needs in alignment with the marketing teams & zones, with the support of the market coordinator.
- Plan the various tasks required to carry out the event, with the support of the market coordinator.
- Establish the retroplanning and specifications with the event's objectives.
- Select and supervise service providers who will be involved in the event.
- Coordinate the various stages of event organization (choice of venue, speakers, etc.), ensuring that deadlines and contractual obligations are met.
- Organize and supervise the supply and logistics associated with the event (if not handled by the commissioned agency).
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements for the entire event, from preparation to closing.
- Monitor public relations and ensure that PR and social media coverage objectives are met.
- Be present on the day of the event to ensure that the schedule runs smoothly, and to react and make suggestions in the event of malfunctions.
- Maintain a watch and be a driving force for innovation
- Monitor the production of eventing guidelines and the implementation of local events in close collaboration with the market coordinator.
ROI
- Manage the collection and analysis of feedback to measure the satisfaction of markets/zones and event participants.
- Carry out the actions required to close the event (follow-up of internal re-invoicing, film production, photo selection, captions, post-event press releases, etc.).
- Draw up the financial statement for the event (management of purchases and expenses) in collaboration with the L'Oréal Luxe Purchasing Director.
- Measure the impact of the event using tools adapted to the objectives (participant satisfaction, social media reach, measurement of press coverage, etc.).
- Identify areas for improvement with a view to anticipating future projects.
