A Day in the Life
As our E-Transport Specialist, you will be a important part of our Supply Chain team, ensuring our products move seamlessly and efficiently across borders. You won’t just be watching from the sidelines; you'll be at the heart of our logistics, solving complex challenges and keeping our operations running smoothly.
- Drive Transport Operations: Implement eTransport requirements to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials in compliance with new regulations by collecting and inputting needed data into our platforms to generate unique tracking shipment codes (UITs) for all our shipments that cross the border.
- Ensure Compliance: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with transportation regulations, ensuring every shipment complies with local and international laws.
- Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to obtain necessary data, resolve delays, and proactively communicate changes to ensure a smooth physical flow of goods.
- Innovate and Improve: Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, improve data flow, and implement best practices in our transport operations.
- Masterdata collection: Collect mandatory masterdata fields from systems (SAP & TMS) and other sources (emails, Excel files exchanged between carriers, suppliers, and eTransport planners).
- Tracking: Track all shipments entering or exiting our country, resolving any issues or delays related to missing data.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail and the drive to make a real impact. You have a knack for navigating complex logistics and a collaborative spirit that allows you to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
- A solid understanding of logistics, supply chain operations, and transportation regulations.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with precision.
