Division Chief Digital Officer (m/f)

 

Based in Belgrade or Zagreb 

 

 

Our Division Chief Digital Officer will drive the digital & consumer engagement transformation for L’Oréal Consumer Products Division (CPD) in Adria-Balkan markets, collaborating with main stakeholders to accelerate on key topics such as media, advocacy, search, services, content & websites. You will be an expert and support the brands, lead the vision, and be a partner for media & digital agencies, as well as manage the budget and a team.

 

YOUR ROLE WILL BE TO:

 

  • Localize digital roadmap while prioritizing key milestones for CPD Adria-Balkan, based on the overall Europe CPD strategy.
  • Brief, build & share performance data & actionable insights on a regular basis covering the key topics of digital & consumer engagement.
  • Upskill and drive the digital agenda for the entire division, leading by example and inspiring the next phase of innovation. 

 

YOU WILL ALSO HAVE THE IMPACT IN THE AREAS OF:

 

  • MEDIA: 
    • Ensuring compliance with Division rules of engagement, with specific focus on Digital media (paid, earned) on all platforms, being at the forefront of the market practices. 
    • Monitoring, developing and optimizing the strategic approach and media performance. 

 

  • ADVOCACY: 
    • Developing the division influencers´ strategy for all brands and markets. 
    • Implementing the roadmap toward gains in Share of Influence, views and engagement, both earned and paid, together with the team and agencies.


  • SEARCH, DIGITAL SERVICES and WEBSITES: 
    • Defining and implementing winning strategy for CPD Adria-Balkan, in line with Europe Zone guidelines, and local results. 
    • Monitoring performance and set media strategy, including 1P data. 

 

  • ECOMMERCE: 
    • Contributing to e-commerce development, providing adapted digital information and expertise. 
    • Setting up a strategy for transactional media, collaborative ads, 2P data activation, in cooperation with brands and the e-commerce team. 
    • Building, developing and managing your team, coaching them and developing their digital expertise and know-how.

THE IDEAL PROFILE:

 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree (preferably in marketing or digital)
  • Has 10 or more years of previous work experience, including experience with Digital activation
  • Has highly developed leadership skills, experienced in coaching and motivating a team 
  • Demonstrates platform excellence (digital media, tagging, SEO, …)
  • Easily builds strong partnerships with Digital agencies and technological teams 
  • Has experience in optimizing landing pages, UX and user funnels
  • Has experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Has solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tracker)
  • Is digital savvy, curious and early adopter of new digital trends 
  • Is data driven, and has strong analytical skills
  • Is both “a peasant and a poet”: is happy producing reporting, and getting in the detail, but also happy developing a 3-5 year roadmap & strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey clear messages in communication with various internal and external stakeholders (both with experts and non-digital profiles)
  • Active and advanced use of MS Office
  • Fluent in English language
