Position Overview:
The Director, Medical Content Strategy & HCP Engagement is a strategic, hands-on leader who shapes how LDB educates and engages dermatology healthcare professionals (HCPs) through scientific content, CRM communications, and a best-in-class HCP website.
Your core mandate is to elevate medical content excellence, while overseeing the CRM and digital ecosystem that delivers that content to HCPs in meaningful, personalized ways. In collaboration with the digital team, you will drive digital and CRM leadership by spearheading a comprehensive HCP communication strategy that encompasses the end-to-end lifecycle—from acquisition to reactivation—through personalized journeys, automated storytelling, and performance-driven insights, while simultaneously shaping an AI-ready content strategy to ensure brand accuracy and discoverability within large language models
Key Responsibilities:
I. MEDICAL CONTENT STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT (Primary Focus)
- Lead HCP content strategy across digital channels
- Lead content planning for web, CRM, newsletters, congress platforms, and video to drive HCP awareness, engagement, and education.
- Translate complex dermatologic science into engaging,accurate, and actionable content for dermatologists, NPs, PAs, and other HCP audiences.
- Develop original content that blends clinical credibility with brand storytelling—articles, clinical explainers, educational resources, thought leadership, etc.
- Cross-functional and scientific alignment
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Relations, and R&I to createaccurate, compliant, and brand-aligned resources.
- Assess global and omnichannel team content for U.S. market relevance and adaptation.
- Identifynew contentopportunities across dermatology trends, congress insights, brand priorities, sales team needs, and product launches.
- Content organization and performance
- Manage content calendars alignedtocampaigns, scientific milestones, and omnichannel activation.
- Partner with analytics to track content performance andoptimizefuturestrategy.
- Industry presence
- Represent LDB.us and our content ecosystem at medical events, trade shows, and major dermatology congresses.
III. SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT FOR DIVISION & BRANDS
- Collaborate closely with Medical Relations, R&IandMarketing to ensure a scientifically robust clinical communication plan.
- Summarize clinical study results into engaging, digital-ready content for the HCP website, CRM, and newsletters
- Present scientific material clearly and confidently to internal teams and external HCP audiences.
IV. WEBSITE STRATEGY & CONTENT EXCELLENCE (lorealdermatologicalbeauty.us)
- Developcontentstrategies that increase traffic, engagement, and consumption of scientific/medical content.
- Partner withdivision CDMO todevelop content plans leveraging HCP 360 datainsights
- Ensure content on LDB.us isaccurate, up-to-date, clinically credible, and aligned with brand priorities.
Cross-functional digital partnership
- Align web execution with broader marketing, creative, and medical initiatives.
- Lead project management for key web initiatives and enhancements.
II. MEDICAL EVENTS & CONGRESS SUPPORT
- Partner with brand teams to define congress content strategy and key scientific messages toultimatelycontributeto the overall content communication plan.
- Build competitive analyses of scientific exhibit content.
Qualifications / Experience
- 7+ years in healthcare content marketing, medical communications, scientific storytelling, or related fields; dermatology or aesthetics experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with CRM strategy, digital marketing,andwebsite/content management within a medical, skincare, or healthcare environment.
- Proven ability to translate scientific data into high-quality, engaging content for HCP audiences.
- Strong experience developing integrated multi-channel content strategies.
Skills & Capabilities
- Exceptional writing, editing, and scientific communication skills.
- Strong project management and the ability to prioritize across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing clinical research data and summarizing findings for professional audiences.
- Ability to build strong relationships with physicians, HCPs, and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent oral presentation skills in medical communication settings.
- Digital curiosity with comfort across CRM platforms, analytics tools, and CMS systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GA360, Sitecore, etc.).

- Salary Range: $138,500.00 – $200,800.00 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level
