YOUR FUTURE TEAM 

At L'Oréal, Consumer Engagement is central to our global business growth. The O+O Consumer Engagement & MarTech team is an international force, driving innovative Consumer Engagement and Marketing Technology projects across all divisions and markets, both online and offline. 

We are a multidisciplinary team tackling B2B and B2C challenges across the group. Our mission is to empower business teams to fully leverage consumer and customer data. We work with leading tools such as Salesforce Marketing and Service Clouds, GCP, CDPs, OneTrust, Qualtrics, Sprinklr, Apigee, and Azure. In this fast-evolving technological landscape, we value innovation, curiosity, and strong team collaboration.

  • Consumer Care: Empower our contact center agents with cutting-edge tools to efficiently serve consumers across all markets and channels (Social, Online, Website, Voice, Email, Video). This includes leveraging AI to augment agent capabilities.
  • Data Privacy: Ensure legal compliance and robust protection for all consumer and customer data. This involves adhering to country-specific laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), managing cookie compliance, consent capture, and privacy policies across online and offline channels.

 

WHAT A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER LOOKS LIKE : 

  As a Digital Consumer Care and Data Privacy Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing MarTech solutions within L'Oréal IT O+O. 

In this dynamic role, you will: 

  • Lead IT projects focused on Consumer Care and Data Privacy.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams as well as other applications, architecture, and integration teams to design optimal solutions delivering business value.
  • Develop project plans, track critical path items, resolve roadblocks, and escalate issues to deliver business and consumer value.
  • Manage project teams utilizing advanced backend and frontend technologies. This includes Salesforce Data Cloud, AI solutions like L’Oréal GPT (our own AI tool) or Einstein, GCP, and Sprinklr for Consumer Care, as well as OneTrust and TagInspector for Data Privacy, cookies, and consent management.
  • Optimize data flows within our ecosystem, leveraging your familiarity with API and system architectures.
  • Provide leadership, knowledge, and guidance on application portfolio technologies, ensuring high service levels in compliance with L’Oréal IT standards.

 

Key Responsibilities (Detailed) 

You will be responsible for our Consumer Care and Data Privacy projects, partnering with Global Business and regional IT teams. Your responsibilities include: 

  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure efficient and collaborative management of business stakeholders for project, product, and operational activities.
  • Communication: Communicate project status to managers and senior leadership, provide input for business case preparation, and organize project governance meetings.
  • Project Leadership: Frame, lead, and manage project activities from inception to completion. This includes creating project plans, facilitating team meetings and steering groups, assisting with test script writing and UAT, preparing status reports, tracking issues, mitigating risks, monitoring critical paths, and escalating issues.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage contracts, providers and funding for assigned projects and products.
  • Delivery & Quality: Ensure project milestones are met, budgets adhered to, and solutions are sustainable and standardized. Propose improvements and contribute to business specifications alongside Product Owners.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep dive into system technical and functional capabilities and into integration patterns, understanding potential implications of changes.
  • Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day activities with internal IT teams, external partners, managed service providers, and consultants, aligning with business stakeholder expectations.
  • Issue Resolution: Facilitate production issue resolution and communication, minimizing impact and accelerating solutions.
  • Change Management: Follow change management processes to capture requests, assess value and impact, manage stakeholder decisions, and execute changes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process, tool, and methodology improvements within your projects.

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have: 

  • Education:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or Business is preferred.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English required; French is a strong asset). Ability to interact with all management levels and clearly document projects and solutions.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a demanding, client-centric, and legally constrained environment.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of Consumer Engagement activities, opportunities, trends, and key expectations.
  • Team Player: Elevated level of initiative, proactivity, and teamwork.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organization and time management abilities.
  • Experience:
  • Project Management: First-hand experience with Agile project management principles and methodologies.
  • Application Management: Experience managing projects with Salesforce Core and Contact Center applications. Experience managing applications based on SaaS solutions, including run and operation activities.
  • Global IT: Experience leading projects and running applications within complex Global IT and Business organizations (e.g., co-delivery, offshore activities).
  • Track Record: Demonstrable success in delivering and running IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Client Focus: Ability to excel in a demanding, client-centric environment.

Technical & Business Curiosity: 

  • While expertise in all listed technologies is not mandatory, you must demonstrate a strong curiosity to learn and understand new technologies.
  • Broad understanding of technology and business challenges related to Consumer Care management and Consumer Data Privacy management.
