JOB TITLE

Hello, we’re L’Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.

A Day in the Life

As a Demand and Supply Planner for our Consumer Products Division in Cairo, you will be the crucial link between market demand and our supply chain operations. You will ensure our iconic brands like L'Oréal Paris, Garnier, and Maybelline New York are always available for our consumers by balancing forecasts with optimal inventory levels. You'll collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing on the demand side, and with factories and logistics on the supply side.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Integrated Planning: Develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data and market intelligence and translate them into effective supply plans.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and optimize stock levels across the portfolio to ensure product availability, prevent shortages, and minimize overstocks.
  • Collaborative S&OP: Lead the demand review process and actively participate in the full Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle to ensure alignment between all functions.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators for both demand (forecast accuracy) and supply (service level, stock coverage), identifying root causes for deviations and implementing corrective actions.

We Are Looking For

You are a great fit for this role if you can bridge the commercial and operational worlds. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the potential to grow within our dynamic supply chain environment. The 5 most important skills for this role are:

  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Experience in building and challenging statistical forecasts to create an accurate demand plan.
  • Supply & Inventory Management: Ability to manage stock levels, understand lead times, and coordinate the supply flow from factories to the market.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights for both demand and supply.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, from sales and marketing to factory and logistics partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implementing effective solutions.
