Multidivision Credit Analyst / Specialist

Who am I?

As a member of the Multidivision Credit Team, you will play a key role in enforcing the local credit policy and optimizing credit-related activities across all divisions (ACD, PPD, LLD, CPD, CORP).

As a Multidivision Credit Analyst / Specialist, you:

1.    Enforce the local credit policy in close collaboration with the Credit team and relevant stakeholders.

2.    Coordinate all credit-related activities to ensure a clear, efficient, and risk-optimum process for both our customers and L’Oréal.

You report to the Multidivision Credit Manager.

 

Your key responsibilities

    Credit Risk Management:

o    Manage and analyze the credit risk of the local customer portfolio.

o    Assign Customer Credit Limits and manage local credit insurance.

o    Ensure customer credit master data setup is accurate.

o    Monitor local credit KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

o    Ensure an efficient communication flow to inform internal stakeholders of potential credit issues.

o    Perform credit assessments for both new and existing customer accounts.

    Order Validation & Monitoring:

o    Manage the blocking and releasing of orders with credit issues.

o    Analyze retrospectively orders blocked for credit reasons to ensure process integrity.

    Impairment of Account Receivables:

o    Manage bad debt customer identification.

o    Calculate statistical and customer-specific Bad Debt provisions.

    Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:

o    Enforce payment terms across all internal and external partners.

o    Contribute local expertise to define local best practices and help develop and maintain related processes.

o    Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams, order-to-delivery teams, and key business stakeholders (such as Sales).

o    Delivery excellence and detail-oriented execution.

o    Strong IT Tools utilisation.

o    Problem Solving: Proactive communication and a strong solution-oriented mindset.

o    Stakeholder Management: Exceptional conflict management skills and ability to work with diverse teams (Credit Manager, Invoice to Cash, Customer Care, Customer Masterdata, Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain Management).

Our ideal candidate has:

    Some proven experience in Credit Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Risk Management.

    Strong capabilities in data management, SAP, and financial analysis tools.

    Speaks English and French (as required by the role's language requirements).
