A Day in the Life

As our Commercial Finance Manager for the L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) Division, you will be the key financial architect shaping our commercial success in the Nordics. Reporting to the Finance Director of the division, you will lead a team of two and act as a strategic business partner to our Commercial team and General Management, ensuring our growth is both ambitious and profitable.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Financial Steering: Own the financial landing processes for the division, proactively managing the P&L from Net Sales to Gross Margin. You'll navigate risks and opportunities to ensure we meet our financial targets.
  • Drive Strategic Forecasting: Orchestrate the end-to-end commercial forecast, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to build robust, data-driven plans that reflect market dynamics.
  • Ensure Commercial Governance: Serve as the primary financial validator for all commercial activities. You will approve pricing strategies, promotional plans, and trade terms to safeguard brand equity and divisional profitability.
  • Deliver Performance Analysis: Dive deep into channel and client performance data to provide actionable insights, challenge commercial assumptions, and enhance our Gross-to-Net efficiency.


We Are Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic actions. You are a natural leader who can empower a team and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of P&L management, ideally gained within an FMCG or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify key insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Leadership & Influence: Experience leading and developing talent, with the capacity to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel are essential. Experience with SAP or Power BI is a significant advantage.
  • Collaborative Spirit: An ability to work seamlessly across functions, fostering collaboration between commercial and finance teams.
