Your mission
As our Commercial Finance Analyst in Copenhagen, you will be a key business partner for our Commercial Teams in the Food, Discount & Variety channel. Reporting to a Commercial Finance Manager, you will join a high-performing team focused on driving profitable growth for our Consumer Products Division. Your role is central to optimizing financial processes and delivering quality results in a dynamic environment where proactive collaboration is key to success.
Your Key Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a Business Partner: Support local management with both strategic guidance and daily operational insights, advising on the best financial options to drive the business.
- Co-pilot Commercial Planning: Co-pilot and challenge the construction of trends and budgets, from turnover planning down to consolidated net sales and gross margin.
- Drive Profitability: Take charge of optimizing and monitoring commercial allowances and COGS to continuously improve the overall profitability of your business unit.
- Deliver Actionable Reporting: Provide reliable financial reporting and analytics, and based on your findings, initiate concrete actions to be taken by the business.
- Manage Financial Closing: Be in charge of all monthly closing and management reporting activities for your scope, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee that internal controls are correctly implemented and that your teams comply with all internal procedures and processes.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative team player who is ready to make an impact. You are a great match if you have:
- A master’s degree in Finance, Business, Auditing, or a related field.
- Some experience in a similar controlling or finance role, where you have demonstrated strong data analysis skills to provide clear insights.
- A talent for using critical thinking to confidently challenge the business and an influencing ability to guide stakeholders towards optimal financial decisions.
- A proven track record of cooperation, working effectively as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A drive to steer transversal performance & value management, making a tangible impact on business results.
- Confidence and experience in Excel are essential; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in English.
