WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Sales Forecast Planning:
- Leading the sales forecasting process in collaboration with Supply & Demand planning.
- Working with sales managers to develop channel-based annual sales plans, determining monthly targets (Revenue, unit volume, sales budget, and profitability planning).
- Communicating monthly targets to sales teams and tracking their progress.
- Closely collaborating with distributor teams to monitor distributor orders and propose recommended orders when necessary.
- Coordinating with sales teams throughout the month to track target/actual performance and plan corrective actions.
- Monitoring field inventory and shaping sales forecasts accordingly.
- Promotion and Campaign Planning:
- Working closely with the Business Development team to design the most effective promotion plans/campaigns.
- Disseminating promotion plans to the field and planning necessary sales budgets.
- Performance tracking and budget reconciliations with customers.
- Planning annual systems (revenue-based incentives), palettes, and campaign products.
- Working on segment/customer-based product allocations according to business principles and releasing them to the field.
- Sales Team Support:
- Coordinating the sales team for monthly/quarterly/annual priorities.
- Providing necessary support to the sales team in areas such as reporting and planning through close collaboration.
- Incentive Systems:
- Designing incentive systems for the sales team.
- Calculating monthly and quarterly performance and publishing entitlements.
- Sales Automation Systems:
- Operating systems for sales automation.
- Planning necessary actions within the automation system when needed.
- Measuring and reporting field success factors through automation.
- Channel / Customer-based P&L Tracking:
- Controlling sales budgets spent for channels/customers.
- Tracking actual and future planned P&L for channel/customer/brand.
- Segmentation:
- Segmenting pharmacies based on their potential and business size.
- Planning in-pharmacy priorities and investments according to this segmentation.
- Optimizing coverage within the framework of the established segmentation.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
- 4 years’ university degree
- Min. 7 years of experience in FMCG (Supplementary experience: Sales/Planning, Demand Planning, Commercial Controlling)
- Experience in one of Sales Forecasting Tools is preferred
- Have a commercial drive (results & solution focused, flexible/adaptable)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Advanced level of MS Office Applications
- Good communication & Negotiation skills
- Able to work in a group effectively
