A Day in the Life
As a Business Planner in the Consumer Products Division Romania, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our sales forecasting and planning processes. Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize forecasts, analyze performance, and ensure product availability to meet market demands. Your role will combine analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration to drive operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Forecasting & Planning:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and demand planners to ensure accurate and consistent forecasting based on historical data, activation plans, and market/client evolution.
- Lead the monthly sales forecast meetings and propose adjustments to key stakeholders.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, proposing corrections to ensure high service levels and product availability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze sell-in, sell-out, and stock data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain and develop complex reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Prepare and present monthly sales performance by channel and category.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, marketing, demand planning, and controlling teams.
- Propose forecasts for product launches in collaboration with marketing and demand planners.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure stock-in-trade accuracy and support optimization initiatives.
- Manage complex data and business analyses to drive decision-making.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for planning and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience & Expertise:
- 2+ years of professional experience in planning (demand/supply/commercial planning) is highly appreciated.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI skills are an advantage.
- Proven ability to present complex data to audiences at all levels.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Optimization- and automation-oriented work attitude.
- Mindset & Potential:
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Resilience, sound judgment, and agility to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Education & Languages:
- A university degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
