A Day in the Life
As a Business Intelligence Analyst in our Corporate division, you will be a trusted consultant, transforming complex data into actionable commercial strategies. You'll join a team that sits at the intersection of data exploration and strategic business partnership, using your expertise to influence stakeholders and pioneer new data-driven solutions for the UK market and beyond.
Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner for UK business teams, translating commercial questions into data-driven hypotheses and crafting compelling narratives to influence decision-making.
Advanced Data Exploration: Query and analyze large-scale datasets in Google BigQuery to uncover hidden commercial opportunities, diagnose business performance, and proactively propose solutions.
Agile Prototyping & Innovation: Design and build rapid proof-of-concept (PoC) reports and data models to solve immediate business challenges, acting as an innovation catalyst before collaborating with global teams to scale successful insights.
AI-Driven Acceleration: Leverage L’Oréal’s cutting-edge generative AI tools to automate workflows, speed up time-to-insight, and champion new ways of working, all while ensuring strict data privacy and security.

Business Intelligence & Data Analytics: Proven ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable business insights and strategies.
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) and writing complex SQL queries, preferably within Google BigQuery.
Data Modeling & Architecture: A solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., Star/Snowflake schemas) and modern data warehousing concepts.
Strategic Mindset & Storytelling: The ability to act as a consultant to the business, communicating data-driven narratives that influence stakeholders at all levels.
Agile and Innovative Approach: A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with experience in building rapid prototypes and an interest in leveraging AI for data analysis.
