WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

The AVP Ecommerce will focus on building & growing the D2C business for SkinBetter Science.  As the Ecommerce AVP, your focus will be to drive both the Acquisition & Retention business, as well as expansion of Digital Services.   This includes, site merchandise, leading promotional and email calendar, growing the Pro Services programs, and managing 3rd Party Vendors.  This individual will strategize and execute best in class digital programs to meet our brands objectives and business needs.  Also, the role involves working with vendors to make sure that we are maximizing our business and brand awareness/potential.  This includes proactively working cross-functionally and supporting programs to drive personalized experiences.   The role will collaborate with the VP of LDB D2C Ecommerce, Brand Marketing, Merchandising, DDX, Content, Supply Chain/Demand Planning, IT, Customer service and the DMI to ensure that we met our sales goals, ROI, and growth plans, while driving the medial equity of the brand. This position will need to have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage internal and external resources to bring projects to life, while maintaining a result driven approach. This person should have strong communication skills and understand how to prioritize projects. The individual must be pro-active and can work well independently and, in a team, setting.  

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  

  • Manage budgets and optimize campaigns as needed to drive growth with qualified customers
  • Own CRM and Merchandising strategy and execution to drive channel growth opportunities
  • Serve as the digital marketing owner and be accountable for the effectiveness of digital campaigns, programs, and partnerships with third-party agencies.
  • Manage, coach and develop digital team as well as indirect report.
  • Develop and execute promotional strategy.
  • Site performance forecasting
  • Collaborate with key global and local stakeholders to evolve SkinBetter Science  digital programs and performance  
  • Owns development and execution of strategy to drive e-commerce revenue streams. 
  • Thorough understanding of brand’s business model, marketing objectives to translate operational goals into digital executions 
    • Experience setting up and maintaining campaigns
    • Merchandising
    • Strong Technical knowledge with experience working with 3rd party integrations, tagging and pixels
    • Must be highly organized and adapt to change as needed
    • Clear understanding of the full customer journey
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across a matrixed environment
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to demonstrate strong digital vision
    • Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide optimization recommendations

    • Experience developing creative briefs and project briefs for agencies and creative teams

 

Job Qualifications:  

  • Bachelors Degree in related field 
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing focused on driving sales and growth with measurable results. Agency experience a plus.  Preferred at least 3-year experience working in SEM, Retargeting, Media, and Affiliates 
  • Skincare and/or beauty experience preferred 
  • Experience with agency management  
  • Experience analyzing website, CRM and social media KPIs. Strong analytic skills in  assessing ROI for the impact of efforts 
  • Passionate about keeping up with the latest digital trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscape. Seeks innovative ways to engage communities 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Excellent presentation skills. Ability to present to senior level stakeholders. 
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to work well with a network 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously 
  • Must demonstrate flawless attention to details, be a team player, multi-tasker, creative thinker 
  • Proven writing skills (technical and creative) 
    • Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint - Advanced PC skills (MS Word, Microsoft Outlook Calendar & E-Mail, Excel, Power Point)
    • Experience with Google Analytics

 

Salary Range: 160k-210k base salary + bonus
