Hello, we’re L’Oréal, We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.

A Day in the Life

Based in our London office, you will join Aesop’s Global Brand Communications team, reporting to senior managers across social media and PR. This role is a unique opportunity for a penultimate-year student to support the orchestration of Aesop’s voice across our digital channels and our global community of advocates, journalists, and storytellers.

You will be immersed in the day-to-day execution of our communications strategy, learning how a world-class brand balances creative integrity with digital precision and sincere relationship-building.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Supporting the orchestration of our brand narrative across all touchpoints, from maintaining the global social media calendar to managing press materials.
  • Assisting in community and advocate engagement, including monitoring digital conversations and coordinating the dispatch of product 'seedings' and press gifts.
  • Helping to monitor and report on brand perception, tracking global press coverage and digital mentions, and assisting in the collection of social media performance data.
  • Providing logistical support for key brand moments, whether it's coordinating assets for a digital campaign or assisting with the planning of a press event.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a culturally curious student with a meticulous eye for detail and a natural alignment with Aesop’s minimalist aesthetic. You are someone who finds fulfillment in the details and understands the nuances of crafting a thoughtful brand presence, both online and offline.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Aesthetic Sensitivity: A deep appreciation for design and an exceptional level of attention to detail, from the copy in a social post to the wrapping of a press gift.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written English and a budding ability to communicate in a tone that is both professional and poetic, adapting to different audiences.
  • Digital Curiosity: A strong interest in the mechanics of social media, combined with an understanding of how to build sincere relationships with media and advocates.
  • Organizational Rigor: The ability to manage multiple administrative and logistical tasks with poise, discipline, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Cultural Awareness: An active interest in the worlds of art, design, literature, and architecture, which informs Aesop’s unique communications strategy.

You are:

  • In your second year of a university course that requires a one-year industrial placement.
