CONTEXT:
Join L’Oréal’s dynamic Global Procurement organization and contribute to the success of our worldwide Supply Chain operations. As a key player in the sourcing of transport and logistics services, you will support strategic initiatives that drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across all zones. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and sustainable procurement in an international environment.
MAIN MISSIONS:
As a Junior Buyer for Supply Chain Services, you will contribute to the effective management and development of our supplier network and sourcing projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Global Supply Chain Tenders Execution:
- Assist in the preparation, management, and execution of RFX (Request for Information, Proposal, Quotation) processes for international transport (Air, Sea & Rail) and logistics services.
- Participating in Post-Awarding Implementation:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth transition and implementation of awarded contracts.
- Supporting Sustainable Sourcing and Compliance Initiatives:
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing sustainability and compliance within the supply chain, in line with L’Oréal’s commitments.
- Preparing Annual Business Reviews with Strategic Suppliers:
- Organize and support the preparation of performance reviews and strategic meetings with key supply chain partners.
- Developing and Improving Decision-Making Tools:
- Work on the creation and optimization of analytical tools and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision making.
EXPERTISE YOU WILL DEVELOP:
- Sourcing strategy and supplier management
- RFX preparation, process management, awarding, and implementation
- International transport (Air, Sea & Rail) and logistics operations
- Sustainable sourcing practices
- Project management and PMO methodologies
PROFILE REQUIRED:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable student eager to grow within the world of global procurement and supply chain management.
Skills and qualities expected:
- Student in engineering or business school, specialization in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Reliability and strong sense of responsibility
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment
