Your future team

Within the Beauty Tech organization, the Finance IT department provides global solutions & services for the Finance & Legal group direction. We are a dynamic and motivated team of around 40 people, with diverse skills & strengths. We work closely with our businesses to respond to changing technology and user needs. Empowered, forward-thinking and capable, our multicultural team focuses on developing skills across technologies and working closely with our business partners to provide cutting-edge solutions.


3 main challenges specific to the position 

  • Engaging with our business partners in Finance and Operations to understand functional requirements & analyse technical impacts in line with those requirements  
  • Ensuring the Run and Project activities on 3 different SAP CORE Solution: L’Oréal “Affaires” CORE System, L’Oréal Factories WISE System and NEO S/4 System 
  • Ensuring a high-quality solution delivery aligned with Group processes & norms acting as a point of reference for our IT Partners 


What a day in the life of the Finance IT team looks like: 

  • You will sit in the IT department but have a strong relationship with the business and operations teams to help them leverage SAP solutions to deal with their business goals.
  • You will oversee the Run activities and Projects impacting the different SAP Core Solutions, including S/4 System NEO Solutions.
  • Your role is to guaranty, design, specify, build and maintain solutions aligned with Group processes & norms

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have:

  • 15 years’ experience minimum in SAP Finance & Controlling Solution, being able to lead and challenge complex technical designs
  • Previous knowledge of the following specific SAP Financial domain in ECC and S/4 Environment: Treasury processes, Intragroup flows, A/R, Credit management, and S/4 Customer Contract Settlement solution
  • Understanding of main SAP Modules, Integration and Challenges (e-Compliance, Bank Connectivity, …)
  • A strong interest in acquiring more knowledge in this area as our business partners demand a high level of functional understanding
  • Ability to lead and prioritize demands 
  • Strong teamwork skills as collaboration is the foundation of our ways of working
  • Robust communication skills because you will be at the heart of IT/business interactions 
  • Capacity to assume responsibility for your work and complete timely escalations as the team works in an empowerment model
  • English (Spoken and Written)

 

And finally, the nice to have skills for this position are: 

  • Previous experience in Data project
  • Strong experience in projects AGILE methodology and delivery
  • Understanding of IT architecture concepts (APIs,…) 
  • Knowledge on Controlling including Profitability Analysis
