JOB TITLE: Application Remediation Lead, NEO
A Day in the Life
As an Application Remediation Lead for our global NEO program, you will play a pivotal role in one of L’Oréal’s most significant business transformations. Based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, you will be the central coordinator for application remediation, ensuring local and regional applications are smoothly integrated into our new global SAP S/4HANA template. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between global strategy and local execution.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Strategic Execution: Adapt and implement the NEO Global methodology for application remediation across the region, defining a clear roadmap for all project phases.
- Project Governance: Lead the validation process for the list of Zone/Local applications to be remediated, securing planning, priorities, and timelines to meet project milestones.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary communication link between NEO Global, regional, and local application teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration with key IT stakeholders.
- Performance & Budget Oversight: Consolidate and monitor the budget for application remediation activities in partnership with Controlling teams, and report on project progress and performance.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a highly experienced leader with a strong track record in managing large-scale IT transformation projects in a global environment. You are a strategic thinker with exceptional arbitration skills, capable of navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and driving alignment towards a common goal.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Extensive Seniority and Project Leadership: A track record of successfully managing large-scale transformation projects, with at least 12 years of relevant experience in roles such as IT Project Manager, PMO or SAP Integration Manager.
- Tech Project / Program Management: Proven ability to define and steer technical projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellence in building relationships and ensuring alignment across diverse global, regional, and local teams.
- SAP Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of SAP and proven experience in large-scale, complex project environments.
- Software Engineer: Strong understanding of software systems to guide remediation and integration activities.
- Domain / Business Architect: Ability to align IT architecture with market capabilities and business needs.
- Business Analyst: Skill in identifying and analyzing business needs to guide IT application development and improvement.
