Security, Maintenance & Facilities Manager  

 

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Security, Maintenance & Facilities Manager to join our team at L'Oréal Hellas Head Offices. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained working environment for our employees, visitors, and partners. The role combines management of various tasks such as supervising contractors and more strategic responsibilities, such as managing budgets and advising on long-term efficiencies.

 

You will

  • Oversee building projects and renovations. 
  • Manage budgets related to security, maintenance, and facilities operations. 
  • Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including maintenance security, services, cleaning, catering, and IT. 
  • Supervising teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, and security. 
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations, L’Oréal group health and security standards, energy, water, and waste efficiency requirements. 
  • Produce monthly reporting on security and facilities KPIs.

 

  1. Security: 
  • Be the Security correspondent for the Greek subsidiary. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures for the Head Offices, ensuring alignment with L'Oréal Group standards. 
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation measures. 
  • Manage relationships with external security providers, overseeing contract performance and ensuring service level agreements are met. 
  • Oversee the access control system, CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technologies. 
  • Manage and respond to security incidents and emergencies, collaborating with relevant authorities as needed. 
  • Train and educate employees on security protocols and best practices. 

 

  1. Maintenance: 
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance plan for all building systems.
  • Oversee a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring all repairs and maintenance activities are completed efficiently and to a high standard. 
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and overseeing service delivery. 
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including service logs, inspection reports, and equipment inventories. 
  • Implement energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices related to building operations. 

 

  1. Facilities Management: 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Head Offices, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable working environment. 
  • Manage office space allocation and furniture arrangements, coordinating with departments to optimize space utilization. 
  • Manage relationships with landlords and property management companies, addressing any building-related issues promptly. 
  • Oversee the procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services related to facilities management. 
  • Car fleet management.


You have

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant field. 
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a corporate environment. 
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, building systems, and maintenance best practices. 
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. 
  • Influencing & negotiation skills. 
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
