Position Overview/Position Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient cleaning and sanitizing of machine parts, containers, totes, etc., the accurate recording of data, and the disassembly and reassembly of equipment in the Mascara area.
 

What We Are Looking For:

• High school education or a GED equivalency, preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items, preferred.
• Environmental Factors
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to tolerate working in an environment of high temperatures.
• Must be able to tolerate working in a wet environment where often times clothing becomes wet.

Full Job Description:

• Plan in advance for a "changeover" and coordinate services with the mechanics to adjust, clean, or replace equipment efficiently to minimize the downtime on the production line;
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, mechanics, and other employees;
• Work independently, make decisions, and use adequate organizational and time management skills;
• Have working knowledge of the production process, items produced, and equipment utilized in maintaining production within specific norms and standards;
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures;
• Ensure high standard of quality control and follow all quality and GMP procedures;
• Have the visual/auditory acuity required to read invoice I.D. #s on product labels and hear warning alarms;
• Read and comprehend written instructions and reports;
• Work flexible hours/shifts, including overtime;
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Must have excellent safety and attendance records.
• Must have ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
• Must be able to train on all of the above listed functions.
• Write OPL's
• Manage washroom orders and PO's (coordinate with Maintenance Coordinate, follow up on PO statuses, obtain quotes from vendor, advise on receipt of goods)
• Shift efficiency
• Manage 5S of washroom area
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Computer literacy required
• Have Organization & Documentation Skills
