[L'oreal Korea] Medical Relations Specialist - Active Cosmetic Division

[Job Summary]
Responsible for the Division’s medical strategy through medical relations, medical detailing and medical communications to increase prescription and recommendation of ACD brands by health professionals and establish its scientific legitimacy and reputation

[Main Tasks]

Selects/ Designs the O+O medical and scientific events (medical education targeting doctor and patients, congresses, webinars…) so as to increase the visibility and enhance the reputation of the brand.
  • Coordinates both internal and external contributes to ensure the operational setting up of medical and scientific events
Identifies and selects relevant key opinion leader (KOL) and rising opinion leaders (ROLS) – Scientist and health professionals for the division and brand 
  • Mobilizes and motivates the chosen KOLs and ROLs in their consulting, training and representative activities (congresses, digital, media etc.), including B2B2C activation 
Ensures the monitoring of activity relating to professional and medical relations owns the conduct of observational and clinical studies.
  • Identifies and selects investigators 
  • Reviews protocol in close collaboration with DMI 
  • Manages planning 
  • Supervises studies conduct 
  • Ensures results are shared and used by teams 
Ensures the respect of internal and external ethical standards regarding relations with health professional
  • Define and pilot medical detailing strategy in concert with brand management
  • Define each brand’s positioning through targets/medical indications following global/zone directives
  • Define common and specific territories for brands and synergies to share medical detailing resources
  • Organize medical detailing networks and motivate medical team
  • Work out action plans, budgets, distribution of promotional material, samples
  • Drive efficiency and performance based on criteria of prescriptions and sales
Professionalization of medical detailing
  • Implement use of monitoring tools of medical detailing network activity(CRM/CLM platform)
  • Make sure that initial and ongoing training of teams(environment, pathologies, products communication techniques) and their assessment are carried out
Ensure the variety, scientific quality and competitiveness of medical communications are maintained
  • Supervise the contents, tools and services for health professionals
  • Validate medical detailing tools in collaboration with brand management
  • Implement multi-channel, both on & offline communications strategy in line with marketing strategy and product plan
  • Set up international surveys on local basis and implements local observational studies
Ensure synergies between functions and brands
  • Develop the medical culture

  • University graduate, (Prefer education background in pharmacy, medicine, biology, physics, physio-chemistry)
  • Preferably with ~3 years in medical/pharma/dermo-cosmetics sector
  • Strong scientific expertise and knowledge, analytical skills of medical competitive environment, able to lead effective communications with healthcare professionals
  • Fluent in both Korean and English
