The Global Campaigns Manager is a newly created role in the Global Public Affairs function, in the Corporate Affairs and Engagement organization. The Global Campaigns Manager identifies, implements and leads for advocacy campaigns that help positioning L’Oréal as a thought leader with a global vision and promote the Group’s vision and values. 


The Global Campaigns Manager:

° Develops L’Oréal’s unique voice and messaging that resonates with key stakeholders, in public policy and civil society industry. 
  • Defines and activates L’Oréal’s advocacy in support of specific campaigns.
  • Connects with relevant key stakeholders to boost the visibility of L’Oréal’s campaigns, to identify areas for future campaigns and to create/consolidate potential new partnerships/collaborations.
  • Analyses business needs, develops content and channel strategies, creates, and manages a master roadmap and work plan, identifies owners, and sets up mechanisms to ensure rolling out of global programs.

° Develops and oversees the implementation of advocacy campaigns. 
  • Manages communication with cross functional teams to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for campaigns.
  • Defines success indicators, including specific goals, relevant metrics, and methods for reporting results – in alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyses campaign’s effectiveness and impact and uses these insights to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
° Shares best practices and assists local teams in the roll out of their regional/local campaigns (activation).

Engagement with colleagues/function:
  • Acts as the point of reference on rolling out of campaigns at global level. 
  • Works closely with other functions & departments leading the theme identified.
  • Coordinates across L’Oréal’s dynamic ecosystem to define, develop, and implement multi-channel advocacy campaigns.
  • Creates a centralized hub of shared best practices to bring campaigns & programs to market.
  • Supports teams in local markets, identifies priority target audiences and prerequisites for successful campaigns launches. 


  • 10+ years of experience in delivering global cross functional projects. 
  • Experience in successfully leading global campaign strategy development, planning, delivery and evaluation, and mobilizing resources behind its execution.
  • Passion for campaigning and getting things done. Strong at developing and delivering high ambition public campaigning and engagement approaches and strategies in a global context across a range of countries and cultures.
  • Experience in managing large, cross-functional projects across a range of countries, cultures, and business units.
  • Experience in solving complex issues through analysis, ability to operate and make clear decisions in an environment of some uncertainty.
  • Effective at balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and finding solutions among individual perspectives.
  • Mature understanding of campaign and social movement trends and landscape.
  • Excellent collaborative leadership style and ability.
  • Experience working closely with and influencing senior leaders.
  • Fluent in English & French

  • A strong sense of entrepreneurship and ownership. 
  • Excellent management skills to guide team and establish campaign’s parameters including KPIs.
  • Focused, strategic, and well organized. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing skills. 
  • Ability to manage relationships with agencies and third parties as well as ability to address a non-marketing audience, such as senior level within L’Oréal.
  • Demonstrated experience in mobilizing public engagement around campaigns.
  • Strong partnership and interpersonal development skills, and the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of audiences.
  • Knowledge of issues key to L’Oréal and the politics influencing public and private institutions both nationally and internationally.
