About The Role: 

Youth To The People seeks a dynamic, strategic and creative Director, Global Social Media and Communications to lead its team into a new era of engagement and entertainment. This individual thrives at the intersection of creative storytelling, community building and data-driven strategies with a strong pulse on culture and social conversations. We’re looking for someone who can not only lead our TikTok and IG content strategy but also drive impact and conversations within the skincare and beauty world, as well as connect + continue to build our powerful YTTP community of advocates including creators, consumers and influencers. A key leader within the YTTP Global Marketing team, The Director of Global Social Media and Communications brings the brand’s vision to life on our channels and drives authentic engagement across social media.  

 

What You’ll Do: 

This role drives collaboration and influences multiple levels of leadership to execute on the following key deliverables: support strong image-building + storytelling, build impactful education on what makes the brand + our products and formulation unique, and create brand love + advocacy to connect with our community: 

 

  • Lead attention-grabbing content and channel strategy for all owned social media channels (with primary focus on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube)
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, empowering them to excel in the ever-evolving landscape of social + influencer marketing.
  • Craft compelling narratives that resonate with community and target audiences, with a pulse on culture, social conversations and influential voices to amplify brand messaging.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, product development, and key countries to ensure seamless integration of social + communications plans.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global advocacy strategy sourcing talent and creators partners to shoot and develop content that align with YTTP’s brand vision.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key influencers, brand ambassadors, and media partners to drive brand love and engagement.
  • Develop data-driven insights to track KPI’s, optimize campaign performance, and measure the impact of activations.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, identifying emerging social media trends and developing innovative social media marketing strategies.

 

   

What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience in social and influencer strategy within a leadership role 
  • College Degree 
  • In-depth, knowledge and understanding of social platforms and how they can be leveraged to achieve business goals, including emerging trends in channel performance and content strategies 
  • Proven experience with social media content creations, influencer + ambassador programs, community management and brand communications.
  • Experience developing compelling social media campaigns and effective content strategies 
  • Experience managing and developing a team, with experience onboarding to new social media management, listening platforms and social frameworks 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high level of attention to detail; 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead internal and executive level meetings/presentations 
  • Creative problem solver 
  • Ability to develop solid relationships and lead with influence 
  • Ability to manage in complex, matrixed, fast paced environment 
  • A passion for skincare and beauty with a keen understanding of their social ecosystem, Youth To The People and its competitive set

 

 

 Salary Range: 128,000-180,000 + Bonus
