The Activations & Business Planning Manager reports to the Head of Commercial and is expected to drive the growth of the business and market share gain by effectively translating brand strategy into impactful customer and shopper marketing, while ensuring forecast accuracy and optimized investments. He is expected to understand internal L’Oreal operation in order to partner properly with the Commercial Team and build trade plans. e oversees provincial distributors as part of overall forecast. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead category and channel projects to ensure sell out or offtake growth
  • Facilitate strategy & business planning in terms of method, process, tools, system & consolidation. 
  • Support Head of Commercial for target setting
  • Collaborate with Marketing to translate brand growth drivers and strategies to drive recruitment, frequency and bigger baskets in salon partners. 
  • Work with Commercial Team to provide tools that address market gaps and meet customer expectations
  • Work with Commercial Team to provide gap-generating and gap-mitigating animations to achieve sales forecast
  • Develop and drive the sales force incentive; build KPI for effective and efficient process for sales; support commercial functions in optimizing market, segmentation and targeting approach. 
  • Align with Operations teams on NPI distribution plans, supply concerns an obsolete inventory management
  • Lead channel and customer investment calendar with Commercial Team, and leads investment optimizations when needed
  • Directly liaise with provincial distributors for sell-in targets and animation support.
  • Drive the performance of Total PPD (P&L). 
  • Co-ordinate with other internal departments on retailer/client activity (sales, marketing, supply chain, marketing, customer service, education, merchandising, legal department).

Who are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • More than 5 years direct relevant experience in trade marketing and/or key accounts management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willing to learn and motivated
