Reporting to the HR Services Director, this role is responsible for managing a team of HR Coordinators and HR Apprentice. You are responsible for ensuring we provide an accurate and efficient HR administration and query handling service for our employees and wider HR teams.


You will

    Directly manage the HR Coordinators and HR Apprentice

    Plan work tasks of the HR Services Team and provide high quality administrative support in the delivery of HR calendar events such as:  salary reviews, peak recruitment (i.e. internship intake) etc

    Support and coach the team with the deployment and understanding of our HRIS (One Profile) and wider ways of working 

    Provide hands on support for complex queries and cases.

    Act as escalation point for assisting with query resolution.

    Ensure weekly and monthly reports are provided to the relevant teams, as well as proactively running regular reports to ensure quality of data.

    Work collaboratively with the payroll, reward, finance and divisional HR teams to provide seamless employee experience. 

    Ensure payroll critical processing is actioned in the relevant month and a detailed level of checking is completed for audit purposes.

    Build good working relationships with all key stakeholders. 

    Use data and analytics to inform your decisions and make recommendations to the business and wider HR team


You have


  • A passion for change and continuous improvement  
  • Previous experience of managing a team and or leading a shared service function.
  • Customer focused mindset and strong relationship building skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in an ever-changing environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, remaining calm and professional at all time.
  • Energetic team player
  • Ability to deal with all matters confidentially and diplomatically.
  • Ability to set up, use and bring forward systems
  • Intermediate Excel and experience of using database.
