Position: Tax Activation Lead Record to Report – L'Oréal NEO Program

Location: Paris, Saint-Ouen (Avenue de la Liberté)

After an intense "design, build & pilots" phase, the NEO program is now entering its global rollout mode. This is a pivotal moment, and we are looking for an exceptional talent to join our NEO Global Activation team as a Tax Activation Lead Record to Report

 

Your Mission? Become a Pillar of L'Oréal's Tax Transformation!


As a Tax Activation Lead, you will be at the heart of implementing harmonized tax processes within our P2P/R2R Tribe, essential for ensuring impeccable tax compliance and optimizing our operations. You will work in tandem with the NEO Global Solution team for Tax processes of countries in scope and interact with Domain Leads, functional representative contributing to tax compliance (Accounting, Controlling, Tax and Treasury, …).


MISSION & PURPOSE

Your responsibilities will revolve around key missions:

  • Strategic & Operational Steering

You will define and manage with countries teams the portfolio of tax topics linked to Tax determination and Tax reporting within NEO solution (S4 Hana and SAP DRC) related to Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Forecast-to-Stock (F2S) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes for your region. 📈


  • Expertise & Deployment

You will ensure the presentation and implementation of global tax topics and tax solutions for group reports embedded in NEO (tax ledgers, TP reports, segmented P&L for IG activities, Purchase and Sales books, etc.), in liaison with local teams and within the framework of the Group Tax Key Decision paper. 📑


  • Design & Quality

You will be responsible for the content, quality, and timely delivery of tax solutions, in close collaboration with NEO Solution IT teams. ✔️


  • Innovation & Standardization

You will protect the NEO template and define the "closest-to-standard" solutions for tax processes, data, and KPIs. 💡


  • Continuous Optimization 

You will contribute to the improvement of financial best practices and tax solutions in collaboration with NEO Métier Domain Leads. 🚀


  • Cross-functional Integration

You will ensure the integration of tax topics with other teams ((P2P, R2R, O2C, F2S) for harmonized end-to-end processes. ?🌐


  • Training & Support

You will prepare and conduct tax training for key users, developing the TaxAccounting practice in close relation with the Accounting Domain. ?‍🏫


  • Priority Management

You will operationally manage priorities, capacity, and planning hand-in-hand with IT to build the Record-to-Report backlog. ⏱️

 

THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

A Seasoned Expert and a Collaborative Leader! 

We are seeking a talent who combines solid technical expertise and strategic vision with essential human qualities to drive change.

  • Undeniable Core Métier Expertise: You are a true expert in your field, with proven experience in tax functions within complex environments (AFM, AFP, AFI, HQ, Zone, BEST / Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply and Commercialization business, SSC, HQ or Regional), and in-dept knowledge of all Finance Métiers (Controlling, Treasury, Accounting, Tax). ‍💻
  • Technical Affinity & SAP: A strong inclination towards information systems, particularly SAP, is essential. 💻
  • Change Vision: You have the ability to challenge historical ways of working to implement standards and best practices. Experience in financial transformation and TaxAcc RACI implementation would be a valued asset. 🔄
  • Behavioral Skills: Your curiosity, resilience, quick decision-making skills, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication skills will enable you to navigate and succeed in a challenging and international environment. 🌐
