A Day in the Life
The Supply Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an efficient supply plan to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and minimize costs. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, production, and procurement teams to forecast demand, plan production, and manage inventory across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data and market trends, utilizing planning software.
- Translate demand forecasts into feasible supply plans and production schedules, identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to achieve service targets and minimize carrying costs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, sales, and production teams, communicating supply plans, risks, and performance metrics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement in supply chain planning processes through data analytics.
We Are Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree and Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience in supply planning, demand planning, or inventory management or related to Operations field.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- You are highly collaborative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and organized with excellent time management.
