What You Will Do:

As Senior Manager, Global Product Launches & Portfolio Animation, you will lead and oversee the development and execution of global product launch strategies and the ongoing animation of existing product pillars, ensuring alignment with the global brand vision. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and lead the global product launch and animation strategy for existing pillars, in line with the global brand vision. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Product Development Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end product development process, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (R&I, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.).
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure operational excellence for both new product launches and the renovation of existing ranges, optimizing processes and timelines.
  • Market & Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer and market insights from key drive countries to identify growth opportunities and address portfolio gaps.
  • Product Optimization: Develop a competitive and innovative product mix by optimizing formula, packaging, USP, and claims.
  • Channel Strategy: Optimize product recommendations to maximize success across all channels (professional, consumer, e-commerce, back bar, etc.).
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor the competitive landscape, including new launches, key pillars, and catalogue animation.
  • Formula Development: Collaborate with R&I and technical centers to select winning formulas.
  • Product Testing: Work closely with CMI to develop and execute comprehensive product testing plans.
  • Launch Materials: Ensure timely delivery of all launch materials, including dossiers and artwork.
  • Sustainability: Partner with sustainability, industry, and lab partners to develop sustainable and desirable products.
  • Financial Performance: Work with finance partners to improve gross margin through formula and packaging optimization.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Campaign and Content Managers, providing product knowledge and content to support successful campaigns.

What We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor's degree (BFA, BA, or AAS) in visual arts or other creative fields preferred. High school diploma required.
  • 7-10 years of relevant Marketing experience, with a strong focus on product development and launch management within the beauty industry.
  • Proven experience in hair color, hair care, and/or hair styling marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the professional beauty industry, including product trends, channel dynamics, and performance metrics across all distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a consistent brand presence across multiple channels.
  • Strong visual aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions, solve problems effectively, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus and influence decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%).
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
