Hello, we’re L’Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). And right now we are searching for one of the coolest ones!

A Day in the Life

As a (Senior) Finance Controller at the Professional Products Division (PPD), you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of our prestigious portfolio of professional and luxury hair care brands within the CZ/HU/SK region.

As L’Oréal’s founding division, PPD is a highly dynamic business engine. We manage a premium, high-margin, multichannel portfolio (including Kérastase, L'Oréal Professionnel, and Redken) spanning salon networks, social commerce, and selective retail - combining rapid digital acceleration with pioneering beauty-tech to drive profitable market share.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will own the full P&L of the online channel, ensuring accurate financial management and performance tracking. By partnering with cross-functional commercial & marketing teams, you will contribute to business growth through insightful analysis, process optimization, and strategic decision support in the highly dynamic beauty market.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Ownership: Manage and control the full P&L of a luxury business channel, ensuring high financial accuracy and clear visibility to drive selective distribution and commercial decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, aligning financial plans with luxury brand strategies, high-end product launches, and selective growth objectives.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a strategic finance business partner to the marketing and commercial teams, providing financial insights that shape selective pricing, high-touch promotional strategies, and go-to-market executions.
  • Performance Optimization: Enhance business performance by monitoring key drivers, identifying risks and opportunities, and proposing corrective actions tailored to luxury retail dynamics.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver monthly performance reviews and variance analysis to management, translating financial results into clear commercial implications for boutique, e-commerce, and department store channels.
  • ROI Evaluation: Evaluate the financial impact and ROI of premium commercial initiatives, brand activations, trade investments, counters, and selective retail animations.
  • Compliance & Agility: Ensure strict compliance, internal controls, and financial discipline while enabling the commercial agility required in the luxury sector.
  • Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo, driving efficiencies, refining financial analysis, and embedding a performance-driven mindset across the division.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of P&L management (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, trade and retail spend, counters capitalization) & expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Preferred experience with SAP & solid command of the Microsoft Office package (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex financials into business language, with strong influencing and stakeholder management at different levels of the organization.
