A Day in the Life
As an RGM Analyst reporting to the RGM Manager within a dynamic team, you will drive profitable growth for L'Oréal Consumer Products in Romania. By combining commercial acumen with advanced financial modeling, you will play a key role in optimizing pricing, promotions, and assortment across brands and channels. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Commercial, Business Development, and Finance, you will leverage data-driven insights to shape impactful decisions and contribute directly to L'Oréal's ambitious growth targets in the Romanian market.
- Revenue Growth Management Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth RGM analyses, combining internal and external financial and non-financial data sources to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement in pricing, promotions, assortment, and channel mix. Build and maintain econometric models to calculate price elasticity (direct and cross-price), identify psychological price thresholds, and optimize product and channel mix.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced analytical techniques and tools to inform strategic recommendations, track performance, and optimize ROI on promotional investments (promo guidelines under full responsibility of RGM, directly linked to pricing). Develop dynamic "What-If" financial models and sensitivity analyses to simulate the impact of price increases and promotional mechanics on brand P&L, retailer margins, and volume demand
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Commercial, BD, Finance) to align RGM strategies with overall business objectives and ensure follow-up of implementation of initiatives. Translate complex econometric findings into simple, actionable commercial recommendations
- Reporting & Communication: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to allow stakeholders quick access to results evolution, ensuring base for quick insights and strategy building; build dashboards to track key RGM metrics and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data, and a collaborative spirit. They are comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and they are eager to contribute to L'Oréal's ambitious growth plans.
- Education & Experience: A degree in Finance, Cybernetics/Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Administration, with 2-3 years of experience in RGM, commercial analysis, category management, financial analysis, or pricing.
- RGM Techniques & Tools: Proven expertise in optimizing pricing, promotions, and assortment (advanced Excel is required). Strong knowledge of RGM pillars, specifically pricing and promotional strategies, is highly valued.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to extract insights from data, translate them into actionable strategies, and measure impact. Familiarity with Nielsen panels, sell-in/sell-out, P&L, GtN, and Trade Margin is a strong asset.
- Critical Thinking & Curiosity: Intellectual curiosity to ask questions, constantly seek opportunities within data, and simplify complex insights into clear, actionable messages.
- Data Visualization: Familiar in using tools like Power BI to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Stakeholder Management & Influence: Excellent collaboration skills to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships, and confidently present and argue data-backed strategies to other teams.
