In the department of Makeup Development in Japan, we are looking for a talented and experienced researcher to join the team. The objective of this position is to contribute to set the color strategy for partner brands and take in charge of its innovative product development along with the strategy.

In this role, you will play an important role in shaping the future of our partner brands by:
- Leveraging your expertise in color science, market trends, and brand positioning to develop compelling shade portfolios that is relevant to our target consumers and market.
- Staying ahead of the curve by exploring and integrating cutting-edge color analysis tools and technologies.
- Taking ownership of makeup product development projects, ensuring they meet the standards of safety, quality, and performance.
- Proposing innovative color offerings that enhance the desirability of our makeup artist brands.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in product development, with a focus on shade creation and colorants.
- Collaborating effectively with diverse teams across cultures and time zones.
- Sharing your knowledge and inspire others through collaboration and mentorship.
- Demonstrating leadership skills to position yourself for future management roles is big plus.
To succeed in this position, you have :
- Bachelor degree (or above) in Chemistry or Physics.
- Work experiences ideally in cosmetic/personal care/chemical industry at least 5 years.
- Knowledge on basic color science on cosmetic products.
- Hands on experience on formulation of cosmetic or personal care products.
- Preferably to have knowledge on material science on optical materials.
- Fluent in English and Japanese
