Product Brand Manager

Who I am?
As Product Brand Manager you are part of a multidisciplinary marketing team. You are the ‘Brand Champion’ which means that you are responsible for realizing growth with your brand. Furthermore, you will be the expert of your consumers, brand strategy and the budget choices, all to maximize market share and enhance the brand’s equity.
In short: you are accountable for driving and implementing the 360 strategy for L’Oréal Paris skincare, answering the local consumer needs for both Belgium and the Netherlands.
My responsibilities
The Product Brand Manager has a very diverse set of tasks, consisting of:
Insights
- Own and drive category consumer insights (social listening, studies, etc.)
- Observe and analyze competitor behavior and market trends
- Sell-Out analysis and recommendations
Portfolio management
- Product vision, strategy, and growth plan
- Define launch calendar
- Launch dimensioning, price positioning, financial equation
- Revenue Growth Management topics to define right pricing strategy and launches.
360 Lead
- Ensure strong marketing plan with a 360 approach to brand expression and execution across channels on- & offline
- Roll out the right tailor-made media strategy; to reach consumers on the right touchpoint.
- Drive and implement the 360 implementations projects with the right stakeholders
- Budget responsible – mainly production costs for media campaigns.
Brand equity
- Own brand identity/DNA
- Guardian of the product/axe/brand expression on- & offline: ward for consistency in all touchpoints on artworks, claim validation, model rights etc.
This position requires strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
To successfully perform this role, you will work together with:
- Retail & Online Brand Managers, who translate brand plans into retailer plans O+O.
- The Product Brand Coordinator who provides marketing support in, for example, setting up events, creating POS, etc.
- Category managers who are responsible to translate with you the brand equity and business choices in our distribution & shelves
- The Revenue Growth Manager to define right pricing and realizing incremental turnover
- Advocacy Brand managers
- Marketing & media agencies (external)
- Our own Media Manager and other digital specialists from our multidisciplinary CDMO team.
- International brand teams and zone managers in Paris. With this you discuss marketing plans, launches, product information, etc.

Our ideal candidate has:
- A master degree, preferably in a relevant field
- At least 3-6 years experience in product management / marketing
- Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch in speaking and writing
- Experience with fast and effective internal and external stakeholder management
- A broad understanding of FMCG such as Brand management, Digital, Category Management, E-Commerce and Sales.
