Payroll Specialist – Corporate Division

💼 The Role
Working within the Payroll team, you will be responsible for processing the payroll on a monthly cycle across the UK and Ireland. You will act as a key point of contact for employee queries, ensuring accuracy and excellence in every pay cycle.
Your Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Processing: Partner with our managed payroll vendor to process monthly payroll for 3,000+ employees across the UK and Ireland.
- Process Ownership: Take the lead on key processes including Family Leave, Sickness, and Commission calculations.
- Compliance & Audit: Conduct regular checks using assigned checklists; prepare post-payroll reporting and journals ensuring strict adherence to audit requirements.
- Query Management: Manage employee queries through our central solution with a strong Customer Mindset.
- Financial Integrity: Perform regular reconciliations of payroll accounts and manually verify vendor calculations to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Collaboration: Support HR and Accounting teams with specialized queries and collaborate with Reward and HR Cost Control on process improvements.
✅ Your Profile
You have:
- Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience (UK and Irish payrolls).
- The technical ability to manually calculate a payslip.
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
