Your mission 

As the Nordic Channel Sales Director O+O, reporting directly to the Nordic Commercial Director, you will spearhead Consumer Products Division performance and commercial success within your dedicated channels (Pure Player, E-retail and offline retailers). As a key member of the divisional Senior Leadership Team, this pivotal role involves leading a team of approximately 40+ high-performing and collaborative talents within a department spanning 100 individuals. It demands exceptional collaboration and adept management of multiple internal and external stakeholders to strategically scale L'Oréal's brands and category priorities. You will cultivate strong relationships and strategic partnerships with key retailers, champion market share gains, manage commercial investments, and boost client P&L and turnover. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact by leading commercial strategies and sales activation. 


You will... 

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a dynamic team of Business Unit Managers, Activation Manager, Business Planner & Commercial Finance Managers. 
  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships across the Nordic region, ensuring unparalleled partnership. 
  • Drive market share growth for CPD within all client accounts in your given channel. 
  • Oversee commercial investments and manage client P&Ls and turnover for optimal sell out and financial performance. 
  • Champion best practice sharing and strategic scaling of priorities across your channel. 
  • Play a crucial role in upskilling and developing a high-performing commercial function through training and on-the-job coaching. 
  • Contribute significantly to the strategic direction as part of the CPD Nordic Senior Leadership team. 
  • Monitor and drive sell-in/sell-out performance and market share. 
  • Analyze Channel & Client P&L to achieve targets. 
  • Gauge and enhance the 'Pulse of your Team' for sustained engagement and productivity.

 

You are... 

  • A seasoned professional who is qualified with 10+ years' experience in commercial Offline and Online, bringing extensive expertise to our diverse channels. 
  • An experienced leader in negotiation, consistently achieving favorable outcomes and building strong partnerships. 
  • Someone who is comfortable managing stakeholders in a complex business environment, adept at navigating intricate relationships and fostering collaboration. 
  • Equipped with strong communication & coordination skills and a talent for data-driven decision making, ensuring clarity and strategic precision in all initiatives. 
  • Capable to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability when faced with new challenges. 
  • While not a prerequisite, mastering a Nordic language is seen as a benefit but not a must, further enhancing your connection with the regional market.
