Summary:

The SAP SD (O2C) Lead will play a critical role in the global rollout of S/4HANA, leading the Order 2 Cash workstream within a designated region. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in SAP SD, proven project leadership experience, and a strong understanding of global business processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex project landscapes and drive successful outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regional Leadership: Lead the regional SAP O2C team through all phases of the S/4HANA rollout, from blueprint and design to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This includes resource management, task assignment, and ensuring alignment with the global project timeline and objectives.
  2. Solution Design & Configuration: Drive the design of the SAP SD module within the region, aligning with global templates while accommodating specific requirements. This includes order management, pricing, delivery processing, billing, and integration with other modules like FI/CO, MM, and PP. Please make sure solutions follow best practices and optimize business processes.
  3. Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee all testing activities within the region, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing. Develop test scripts, coordinate testing resources, and manage defect resolution to ensure a high-quality solution.
  4. Training & Change Management: Develop and deliver training materials for regional end-users on the new S/4HANA SD processes and functionalities. Support change management activities to ensure smooth user adoption and minimize disruption to business operations.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and project leadership. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues, and proactively address concerns to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  6. Data Migration Strategy & Execution: Lead the data migration activities for SAP SD, execute the global data migration strategy, ensure data quality, and support the business in the execution of data migration processes. This includes data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
  7. Integration with Other Applications: Design and manage the integration of SAP SD with other applications within the L'Oréal ecosystem. This includes defining integration points, specifying data exchange mechanisms, and leveraging APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) where applicable to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Top 5 Skills Required for S/4HANA Global Rollout Leadership:

  1. Deep SAP SD Expertise: Extensive knowledge of SAP SD processes, configuration, and integration points within S/4HANA. Experience with multiple SAP SD implementations, preferably in a global context.
  2. Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage project teams, delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills.
  3. Global Business Process Understanding: A solid understanding of global business processes related to sales, distribution, and logistics. Ability to adapt solutions to different regional requirements while adhering to global standards.
  4. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Ability to build relationships with and manage expectations of diverse stakeholders across different levels and cultures.
  5. S/4HANA Experience: Practical experience with S/4HANA implementation projects, ideally involving a global rollout. Understanding of the key differences between S/4HANA and ECC, and the implications for SD processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in SAP SD consulting, including leadership roles in global implementation projects.
  • S/4HANA certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience with specific industry solutions relevant to L'Oréal (e.g., consumer goods, retail) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
