As a world leader in beauty, L'Oréal is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician for its factory. You will ensure the microbiological compliance of our raw materials, finished products, and production environment, in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices and L'Oréal procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a microbiological laboratory acquired within an industry (pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agri-food) is required.
- Languages: A good level of technical English, both written and spoken, is an asset for this position
- Key Job Accountabilities:
- Perform microbiological analyses (raw materials, finished products, utilities, environment) in compliance with good laboratory, hygiene, safety, and aseptic practices.
- Apply current analysis procedures within the quality system framework.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Guarantee the traceability of analyses and contribute to investigations.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of laboratory practices.
- Ensure the management of reagent, consumable, and laboratory equipment stocks.
- Manage orders with suppliers.
Your Skills:
- Microbiology: In-depth knowledge of microbiological techniques, particularly the Pasteur method (enumeration, detection), Gram staining, and aseptic rules.
- Laboratory Management: Proven experience in managing laboratory stocks and equipment, a solid understanding of GMP/GLP, the ability to manage supplier relationships, risk assessment related to safety, data traceability, and conducting investigations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate precision, rigor, adaptability, a developed critical mind, and effective communication.
