• Advanced knowledge of LAN (Cisco Enterprise & Cisco Meraki) architecture, design & management.
• Advanced knowledge of WLAN (Cisco Enterprise & Cisco Meraki) architecture, design & management. Including knowledge of WLAN coverage study tools (Ekahau), WLAN radio and optimization principles.
• Significant experience of deploying LAN and WLAN network in multiple environments (Office, factories, Warehouse, Research and Development labs).
• Advanced knowledge of Radius (ISE) architecture, design & management including Network Access Control (802.1x)
• Advanced knowledge in Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, iBGP, eBGP)
• Medium knowledge of IPAM/DHCP (Infoblox) and LAN SDN (especially Cisco SDA)
• Successfully manage time and technical responsibilities, set accurate expectations and meet deliverable deadlines while working in a team environment.
• Experience working in a diverse global environment with the ability to be flexible where business drivers dictate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adjust communication style/content to interact with IT, internal/external users/partners.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and Capacity to do some layer 3 support on all the solutions in scope: LAN, Wi-Fi, Radius authentication

Within the Global L’Oréal infrastructure team, the network team is managing design & operations for the whole L’Oréal group. 

The way 90k+ L’Oréal collaborators are connecting on both Wi-Fi and wired networks in a safe, scalable & efficient way, how those collaborators can travel from one site to another with a seamless experience are in the hand of the group network team.

The group network team is 6 people in Paris region and will grow to 9 this Year. The team is relying on zone network teams for worldwide implementation and design validation.

What would be your main challenges ?

-    Define the future of LAN & Wi-Fi, Radius Infrastructure for a scalable infrastructure of a worldwide company

-    Capacity to convince the global infrastructure L’Oréal teams of the benefits of proposed designs

-    Provide guidance and expertise on current industry Network practices within the team, maintain awareness on Network related aspects

In this role, this could be your next day-to-day:

L’Oréal is looking for a senior LAN & Wi-Fi network architect (minimum 8 to 10 years of experience). His responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-    Work in pair with his peers to define the Network architecture strategy,

-    Act as a project leader on identified subjects,

-    Manage the life cycle of the systems’ architecture in his scope,

-    Capacity to define, deliver and setup technical environments,

-    Capacity to lead and achieve projects with external contractors.
