Works with marketing team in defining, creating and executing with excellence the  brands retail design & merchandising strategy . This is done in order to implement the brand’s medicalized image and identity in stores, to reinforce brand visibility, in line with international guidelines


KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITES: (Includes , but not limited to)

  • Sources shopper marketing data/insights to empower management in developing merchandising and POS strategies ,and in making informed decisions on instore support of pillar products and/ or NPDs 
  • Actively seeks to understand patsumer & shopper path to purchase and present findings to management 
  • Actively gains understanding of brand’s medicalized visual identity to build patsumer centric retail concepts
  • Assists in the development of by channel merchandising strategies and tailored execution plans
  • Understands & Integrates retailers/channels ‘specificities
  • Responsible for analysis in developing merchandising roll-out plan. Adopting a tiered approach- according to by door contribution to business ,with the objective to have 50% of the business fully supported with effective and impactful merchandising execution 
  • Actively plays an integral role, in collaboration with agency and management, in design prospective & innovation
  • Develops local merchandising guidelines and playbook, in alignment with international guidelines and in collaboration with management 
  • Responsible for the execution and maintenance of brand’s shelf defenders , headers , permanent builds . From conception , management validation , post execution reporting and monthly maintenance ( where applicable)
  • Negotiates instore space for paid merchandising initiatives to support key pillars and/or NPDs and presents activations to management
  • Responsible for the end-to end execution of paid merchandising activations – from receipt of creative brief from Brand heads , briefing agency on execution , seeking artwork validations from management, managing spend according to POS budget, loading PO, ensuring executional excellence withing stated timeframes and reporting on success of merchandising post campaign 
  • Responsible for execution of commercial and pharmacy team instore merchandising/ POS requests – within stated timeframes
  • Responsible for the end-to-end execution of POS in HCP rooms  
  • Responsible for communicating weekly status report on execution of all merchandising/ POs requests 
  • Defines & ensures high quality standards
  • Ensures technical and legal compliance regarding the production
  • Responsible for supplier and stakeholder management – ensuring L'Oréal internal purchasing process is adhered to
  • Responsible for courier management- adhering to internal control requirements  
  • Responsible for the regular updating and reporting on internal control trackers 
  • Develop one’s knowledge of the L’Oréal organization, get to know the LDB culture, develop one’s expertise in shopper marketing, project management, operational excellence with one’s manager and team support.


Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing
  • Project management.
  • >2 years working in similar position 
  • Operation excellence 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Interest and passion for skincare 
  • Understanding of shopper marketing trends 
  • Experience with working under strict deadlines
  • Competence in full suite Microsoft – Excel, powerpoint 
  • Attentive to detail
  • Excellent in project management
